We are happy to now offer Sea Salts of Hawai‘i’s Gourmet Cooking Salts to our gift and amenity options. A variety of different seasoned salts are available.
The salts are harvested from salt farms in the Hawaiian Islands and from ancient deep sea waters offer the Kona Coast on the Island of Hawai‘i.
Traditionally, Hawaiian sea salt was used in ceremonial blessing of outgoing canoes and to preserve abundant catches. A tradition that carries on today. A gift of salt is considered a symbol of good luck and a blessing.
Some of the unique island salt blends include:
‘Alea- Red ‘Alea clay was traditionally added to Hawaiian sea salt to provide extra nutrition in the diets of the native people. Its fame has spread far from the islands and gourmet chefs use it to flavor the dishes of the world.
Kona – Pure sea-water evaporated by the warm Hawaiian sun, creates a seawater salt 33% lower in sodium than ordinary table salt. The clear and natural taste is prized by chefs of the seven seas and those who enjoy their cooking.
Uahi – Uahi is Hawaiian for the dark black smoke that rises from the coconut shell charcoal. The charcoal gives the alt its distinct color and antitoxin qualities. This black salt makes for a dramatic finish on fish and delicate foods and salads.

Top-performing sales individuals and their guests were invited to attend Chairman’s Club and, along with Cisco Executives, took over the Four Seasons Resort Hualalali, Kona, Hawaii – an ideal venue to offer winners an exclusive experience.
Chairman’s Club had been held in Hawaii for five years and Maritz Travel and Cisco had built strong relationships with MC&A, Inc. Together, a program was created that was filled with the celebration of success for the worldwide sales team and provided a unique experience that winners were able to share with leadership and peers.

The remains of a shipwreck long forgotten serves as a stage backdrop, while the live band in front keeps the energy going all night long. Throughout the event, performers from around the world interact and entertain your guests with their mystifying skills.
This is definitely one port of call that you won’t want to miss.
MC&A recently created a Jurassic Park themed event at Kualoa Ranch, the actual filming location of the movie. Guests were treated to a tram ride through Kualoa Ranch as special VIPs of INGEN, the corporation behind the dinosaur cloning technology. They traveled through the iconic Jurassic Park gates and passed through open fields filled with giant dino eggs, nests and bones.
The tram took them up to an old science bunker filled with scientists and equipment to enjoy pupus and drinks. Afterwards, they drove down to the main campsite to enjoy a fabulous outdoor lunch. The sounds of the roaming dinosaurs could be echoing through the valley, adding to the excitement.
It was truly a fun and immersive experience that they won’t soon forget.
For your next event, instead of the standard photo op in front of a company logo, give your guests the full star treatment with a themed professional photoshoot. Our talented group of photo specialists will arrange for props, costumes and even make-up to make your group’s photos worthy of a Vanity Fair cover. Change ordinary group shots into extraordinary works of art that your guests will keep for a lifetime.
